1. Salterra is a luxury resort on South Caicos, the quieter, less visited island that actually still feels like somewhere. The design leans into the island's salt-harvesting history with stone, driftwood, and pale blues, and the whole thing manages to feel elegant without trying too hard. Spa treatments with a salt theme, plunge pools over the ocean, and rooms with terraces built for watching the sun go down. The crowd here came to actually disappear.
