A giant Ferris wheel on the waterfront that gives you one of the better views of the city you'll find anywhere. On a clear night you can see the Golden Gate, Alcatraz, and the whole bay skyline from one slowly rotating gondola, which beats fighting for a viewpoint with everyone else. Each gondola is private and climate-controlled, so it's basically a moving living room for six. Worth every tourist-y second.
