Check-in here comes with a craft cocktail, which sets the tone for this 172-room Marriott Moxy in downtown Oakland. The pink neon sign and a multi-story mural mark the building from a block away. The bar that handles arrivals doubles as an all-day lounge and co-working space, so the lobby is reliably animated. Rooms run modern boutique, with subway-tile bathrooms and wall-mounted storage keeping things compact and intentional.
