A rooftop infinity pool looking out over Nimmanhaemin's cafe-and-cocktail-bar bustle is a decent argument for staying put. This boutique hotel keeps just 62 rooms across eight floors, decorated in a mix of spare Asian minimalism and a retro-sixties glamour, with Arco lamps, modular sofas, and private hot tubs in every suite. The Michelin Guide has it among its selected hotels.

Each of the seven floors here was designed by a different contemporary Thai artist, so you might sleep under minimalist canopies on the Lanna Romantic floor or pad past black-and-white suites on the adults-only Nude Art level. The ground floor runs as a working gallery. There's a rooftop infinity pool, a Thai fusion restaurant, and bicycles for exploring Nimman. A Michelin Selected Hotel that doubles as a genuine curatorial argument.

Teak paneling, golden brass fittings, and ceramic floors laid in traditional Thai patterns give this 24-room boutique hotel in Nimman a quiet, handmade feel. Rooms run from earth-toned deluxe to pool-access rooms that open onto the water through swinging teak doors, with a pitched-roof penthouse at the top. There's also an omakase counter, a rooftop bar above the street, and a Japanese-inflected afternoon tea service for when you need a reason to sit still.
