The best things to do in the United Arab Emirates, according to the experts: the Forbes Travel Guide and the World's 50 Beaches have both weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. AWAKEN Wellness - Atlantis The Royal comes out on top, and the good stuff runs deepest in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
More Less
Saadiyat Beach and The Bvlgari SPA, Dubai hold the next two places. The Forbes Travel Guide shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with the World's 50 Beaches next.

Hawksbill sea turtles nest on this long white-sand beach minutes from central Abu Dhabi, which tells you something about how seriously the island takes its coastline. The surrounding waters are a protected marine reserve, so the dolphins out there aren't accidental. Ranked 19th on the World's 50 Best Beaches list, Saadiyat is the kind of place that makes city beaches in other Gulf capitals feel like afterthoughts.
