Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Huangpu River and the Pudong skyline, which is a lot of competition for what's on the plate. This is a formal Cantonese banquet restaurant on the Bund, small enough that a few private rooms account for most of the seating. The kitchen revives a style of multi-course celebratory cooking that had largely receded from view, with seasonal menus and a sweet-and-sour pork whose sauce rotates by season. It landed on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list.
