Despite the name, this is a modern Polish restaurant with European influences, not a trattoria, and the misdirection is half the fun. It occupies two rooms in a converted tenement: a bright ground-floor dining room and a darker, more atmospheric basement. The kitchen turns out refined, layered plates with a deft touch, and the young team keeps things warm and relaxed. It holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
