A medieval village on the edge of the Cerdon vineyards is a strange place to find a Michelin-starred creative restaurant, and yet here it is. The chef runs a surprise tasting menu built around hyper-local produce, snails with wild herbs, honey from the village itself. The room has a vaulted conservatory and a lightwell, which gives the whole thing a quietly theatrical feel without trying too hard.
