    Getting here takes real commitment: Alila Jabal Akhdar sits deep in Oman's Al Hajar mountains, and the drive alone feels like a plot twist. This LEED-certified luxury resort is built from local stone, dressed in copper fixtures and hand-painted juniper murals, and anchored by an infinity pool that makes the stark mountain drop feel theatrical. No alcohol, but the spa more than covers the indulgence. The Michelin Guide awarded it 2 Keys.
