Antonello Colonna Labico
Contemporary Italian
A Michelin-starred restaurant inside a building that looks like it belongs at an architecture biennale, set in the Vallefredda countryside outside Rome. The rooms are gallery-scale, hung with art, and deliberately at odds with the classically rooted Italian cooking on the plate. In summer, tables spill under old chestnut trees on the lawn, which is the kind of contrast the whole place seems to be going for.
