Stone-built and perched above a steep mountain valley in the Zagori region of northwestern Greece, this small resort sits at the edge of a national park where local hunters still bring in wild boar for the kitchen. Rooms run from comfortable and modern to wood-burning-fireplace-and-outdoor-jacuzzi, and the restaurant leans into centuries-old mountain recipes. The Michelin Guide awarded it 2 Keys. Getting here requires effort, which is rather the point.
