    The road to this spa hotel outside Gijón runs past apple orchards and cider mills, which sets the tone before you arrive. ARTIEM Asturias sits in the Asturian countryside with vaulted ceilings, picture windows, and a hydrotherapy circuit that takes its wellness credentials seriously. Rooms are quiet and genuinely restful, with blonde wood floors and rainfall showers. The lounge has a grand piano and a glass-encased fireplace, in case you needed an excuse to stay in.
