An old Alsatian farmhouse perched above the Villé valley, converted into a one-Michelin-star restaurant where the chef forages herbs and flowers from the surrounding fields and pulls freshwater fish from local streams. The terrace looks out over rolling countryside, which makes it a fine place to linger over an aperitif. The cooking is inventive without being showy, and the welcome is warm enough that you forget you drove a while to get here.
