A family restaurant in a small Alsatian village, where the menu reads like a field guide to the region: choucroute with all the trimmings, zander in riesling, and aniseed snails prepared the old way. The dining room is bright and contemporary, which keeps things from feeling like a museum, and the front-of-house team has that warm, slightly chaotic energy that only actual families seem to pull off. Been around forever, and it shows in the good sense.
