French
A little house next to Gundelfingen's railway station makes an unlikely home for an old-school institution, yet here the Falconnier family has been doing French and Mediterranean cooking long enough that the watercolors on the walls are by the owners' daughter. It's a proper sit-down restaurant, unfussy and warm, with a terrace that fills up in summer. Fish runs through the menu, from salmon carpaccio to grilled sea bass, and the braised beef cheeks draw the meat contingent.
