A small river winds through the grounds of this country estate on the edge of the Périgord-Limousin Nature Park, and the restaurant takes its name from it. Housed in a large timber-roofed room full of soft natural light, it feels genuinely rural, in a way that isn't staged. The chef runs a surprise tasting menu built from local producers and foraged mushrooms and herbs, sometimes picked by the chef that morning.
