Behl's Restaurant
German
A country restaurant in the Spessart hills where the trout comes from the local brook and the beef grazes nearby pastures, so the menu is essentially a map of the surrounding few kilometers. The Behl family runs the whole operation, dining room to distillery, and the shaded courtyard terrace softens any impulse to eat indoors. On certain evenings they pair a set menu with spirits produced on site, which is a solid reason to stay the night.
