Berggasthof Schlüssel
Regional German
A mountain guesthouse up at 700 meters, with a tiled stove in the dining room and a terrace that earns its keep on a clear summer day. The kitchen runs regional Baden cooking with a light contemporary hand, Tafelspitz in horseradish sauce, beef broth with pancake strips, that sort of thing, alongside a five-course menu in the evenings. The Michelin Guide gave it a Bib Gourmand, and table 15 by the stove is worth asking for specifically.
