    A converted parsonage on the island of Texel, surrounded by farmland and vegetable gardens, Bij Jef is a small boutique hotel with a genuinely luxurious feel. Open-plan suites are bright and minimalist, with Dutch-made beds and wool bedding sourced nearby. Some look out over the village rooftops, others face the fields. Breakfast arrives in courses, with champagne, and the beach is a short bike ride away.
