    A hotel built into the Kennemer dunes, with the North Sea on one side and rolling dune landscape on the other. The lobby opens with a taxidermy installation whose natural history narrative traces back to Dutch botanist Jac. P. Thijsse, which sets the tone: this is a place that takes its surroundings seriously. A rooftop infinity pool, a sauna, and sea-view suites round things out. Circuit Park Zandvoort is five minutes away, Haarlem a short train ride.
