A red timber barn and granary converted into 16 rooms beside a river, with two more apartments in the original farmhouse, this old Norwegian farm and sawmill is now a boutique stay holding a Michelin Key. The buildings kept their agricultural exteriors but gained Scandinavian modernist furniture inside. The restaurant runs almost entirely on organic ingredients grown or caught on site, and guests fish for salmon in the same river they're looking at from bed.
