Bon Kushikatsu
Japanese
Kushikatsu is the Osaka street-food tradition of breaded, deep-fried skewers, and this small spot on rue Jean-Pierre-Timbaud takes it seriously. The format is simple, the execution less so: foie gras flambéed in Japanese whisky turns up alongside wagyu beef and shiitake stuffed with ginger chicken. An evening omakase menu runs the full range; lunch keeps things shorter and easier on the wallet. Quietly stylish, unhurried service, and a room that fills with people who came back.
