    Two tables on a narrow balcony hang over the Arno just past the Ponte Vecchio, and the waiting list for those seats tells you everything. Inside the Hotel Lungarno, this Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant serves creative meat and fish dishes with a quiet Tuscan undertow, across tasting menus and à la carte. The chef keeps things refined without tipping into ceremony, which is harder than it sounds in a room this beautiful.
