    Moonstone Beach Drive runs right along the Pacific here, and the Cambria Beach Lodge sits on it like a classic Highway 1 roadside motel that got a thoughtful refresh. Cambria itself occupies a quiet stretch of central coast between San Francisco and Los Angeles that most people drive through without stopping, which is more or less the point. The kind of place you find when you finally pull off.
