An 1866 Greek Revival mansion on a street that time forgot, Carr Mansion is an adults-only boutique bed and breakfast with a Michelin Key to its name. An Austin designer worked through every room without flattening them into a theme, so each one lands differently. Galveston is already an odd, beautiful detour from Houston, and this house, which has lived several lives before landing here, fits the island perfectly.
