A pistachio-green manor house a short walk from Sintra Palace, Casa Holstein is a small, tranquil guesthouse with thirteen rooms, each with its own terrace. The gardens and pool are the real draw, the kind you linger around longer than planned. Service is personal in the way only small places can manage. The Sintra-Cascais Natural Park stretches out around it, and Lisbon is close enough that the city almost doesn't count as a commitment.
