Casa Mar Paraty

Eight rooms and an infinity pool perched above a fishing village a few minutes up the coast from Paraty, with island-dotted bay views that make the bar's sunset cocktail feel almost mandatory. It's a small, quietly luxurious coastal retreat, simple enough that the jungle backdrop and the beach just down the hill do most of the decorating. Dinner is either on-site or a short hop into one of the better-preserved colonial towns on Brazil's coast.
