The building looks like a concrete cube dropped on a Flemish roadside, which makes the precision cooking inside feel like a deliberate provocation. This is modern French fine dining with two Michelin stars, where the sauces do most of the talking. The chef trained with serious people and it shows in every reduction. Desserts arrive almost too composed to disturb. Come dressed for the room; the front of house keeps things properly elegant.
