Inside, the setting mixes antique stonework with something cleaner and more contemporary, and the tasting menu does something similar, pairing British produce, much of it from the kitchen garden, with quietly confident Indian spicing. It holds a Michelin star, and the service moves with the kind of calm purpose that suggests nobody here is winging it.
