Lake Thun sits just outside the window, which does make it harder to focus on what's in front of you, though the five- or seven-course tasting menu at this Michelin-starred restaurant tends to pull attention back. Each dish arrives with a little narrative, "The Call of Lake Thun" or "Dry-Aged Pork at its Finest", which could easily be precious but lands more like a good host explaining what they've cooked.
