Halfway between Bayeux and the Normandy beaches, this manor house hotel takes its name from the hemp once grown here to make fishing ropes. Rooms have exposed beams, paisley wallpaper, and marble bathrooms stocked with Diptyque, while the old stables now hold sleeker guest quarters.
