Chez Michèle

A one-Michelin-star fine dining restaurant in an old village inn tucked into the Moselle lake district, about as far from the obvious fine dining postcode as you can get. The chef trained with Georges Blanc and Antoine Westermann before coming home, and the cooking shows it: precise, generous plates with a quiet lean toward the Mediterranean. The setting is contemporary, the service attentive, and the address alone is half the story.
