    Murals by local artists, including a member of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, set the tone in the lobby of this design-forward hotel on the edge of South Lake Union, a short walk from the Amazon campus. Rooms are deliberately compact, trading square footage for oversized beds, blackout blinds, and full app control over lighting and temperature. The implicit deal: the city is your living room, and the bed is very good.
