Rooms run from chandeliers-and-period-furniture to stripped-back black-and-white minimalism depending on your mood. A small spa with a hammam and sauna, afternoon tea five days a week, and Bar Mémoir for cocktails round things out. Named for the Dutch architect who built the place, which is the kind of detail that rewards reading the plaque.
