    A husband-and-wife kitchen running creative French food with quiet Korean undertones, inside a bright, calm dining room in Mierlo that feels more zen retreat than village restaurant. The two chefs' overlapping styles show up most in the sauces, which carry the real weight of each dish. Pork cheeks and leek hearts get an Armagnac-spiked peppercorn treatment that makes the case without any fuss. The terrace is worth noting when the weather cooperates.
