A converted mill on the rural edge of Bergisch Gladbach, about as far from a city-center hotel as you can get while still being close to Cologne. Nelson Müller relocated his celebrated Essen restaurant out here, added a more casual second dining room, and wrapped it all in 25 rooms, suites, and villas with a spa running sauna, hammam, and pool. A Relais & Châteaux property, so the baseline expectations are clear: small, quiet, and not cheap.
