The lift opens on the fourth floor of a Savoy hunting palace, where 1950s dining rooms give way to a terrace over the formal gardens of the Reggia di Venaria. This is a Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant built around Piedmontese produce, with vegetables doing more of the heavy lifting than you might expect. Lunch runs à la carte; evenings add tasting menus at the chef's call.
