Most Provençal hotels seem to have declared a moratorium on design sometime around the Belle Époque. Domaine des Andéols, a collection of farmhouse-style houses and modernist Nature Suites outside Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, skipped that memo entirely. The furniture alone reads like a survey course in modernist seating, and the art collection ignores the obligatory pastoral watercolor above the bed. A pool, hammam, tennis, and two restaurants round things out. One Michelin Key.
