    A short walk from the Kurfürstendamm, this contemporary hotel fills its rooms and corridors with works by German artists, so it reads more like a serious collection than a design gesture. It's bigger than a boutique, which means two restaurants, a lobby bar, spa, and a fitness room without the waiting-list vibe. The French brasserie leans a bit Parisian, but the whole operation is unmistakably, practically German, and that's the point.
