An actual ghost town turned luxury resort in remote southwestern Colorado, Dunton Hot Springs is a cluster of hand-hewn log cabins (and one teepee) sitting along the Dolores River between Telluride and Mesa Verde. The abandoned gold prospectors' camp was restored shack by shack, so roughing it now involves thermal baths, spa treatments, and fine organic dining. The Michelin Guide awarded it 2 Keys.
