    A German-Lithuanian couple looked at upstate New York and saw Scandinavia, which is either a leap of faith or just good eyes. The result is a Michelin Key hotel in Windham with A-frame cabins and a lodge redesigned in clean Nordic lines, sitting in Catskills hills that have been quietly staging a comeback. It's two hours from the city, which is exactly far enough to feel like you actually left.
