El Molino

The bar stools at El Molino are sliced millstones, which tells you most of what you need to know. This rustic restaurant sits beside the Alardos gorge in a restored mill, stone walls intact, fireplace going in the bar, a small dining room beyond. The kitchen runs a short bistro menu or a surprise tasting menu built on traditional Extremaduran foundations with a contemporary lean, and leans hard on local vegetables.
