El Ventador
Pyrenean Spanish
The stone façade fits so neatly into Barruera's main street that you could walk past it twice. Inside, this small dining room runs on Pyrenean tradition, the kind rooted in mountain pastures and forest floors, with a few unexpected Asian touches folded in without fanfare. Baby goat, wild mushrooms, and cheese from nearby Taüll anchor the menu, with the option to share à la carte or hand yourself over to a surprise tasting menu.
