The Roca brothers converted a medieval military fortress outside Girona into a Michelin-starred creative restaurant, and the whole visit feels appropriately theatrical. You arrive through an exhibition on El Celler de Can Roca's creative process, pass a wine cellar dome holding tens of thousands of bottles, and reach a concrete dining room where picture windows frame the Catalan landscape. The menu leans on classic Roca recipes, reinterpreted with enough distance to feel like its own thing.
