Fera Palace Hotel

Art Deco bones from an era when this place hosted Carmen Miranda and Orson Welles, now running as a full-service luxury hotel in the heart of Salvador's Centro. The original styling survives in the public spaces, merged with contemporary updates and mid-century furniture in the rooms. Standard rooms run small but comfortable; higher categories open up considerably. The rooftop pool looks out over Todos os Santos Bay. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key.
