Jean-Michel Gathy's design runs from gilded opulence to breezy tropical modernism across cascading courtyards that pull the river inside. The hotel ranks second on the World's 50 Best Hotels list, and with BKK Social Club, multiple restaurants, and a private longtail, that tracks.
