A white-walled hotel on a hill above Mikawa Bay, its green copper roof shaped to read like a castle from the water. The Art Deco lobby chandeliers and original elevator details have been preserved, and a hexagonal 1930s annex plus an older sukiya-shoin wooden structure sit on the grounds as cultural properties. Babe Ruth slept here once, which the hotel remembers in considerable detail. Takeshima Island sits just across the water.
