At 1,850 meters, the snowmobile pickup in winter should tell you everything about how committed this place is to the bit. It's a small fine dining room in an Alpine hut, all rustic timber and stone, where the chef personally brings each course to the table and a set menu runs three to six courses with amuse-bouches on either end. The wine list leans toward the obscure in a good way. It holds a Michelin star.
