Gannerhof
Regional Austrian
Sitting at around 1,400 metres in the Austrian Alps, this Michelin-starred farmhouse restaurant is the kind of place that makes the drive feel preordained. Three old timber farmhouses surround a kitchen garden, and the dining rooms lean into the setting without trying too hard. The seven-course menu takes regional ingredients somewhere unexpected, and the bread comes from flour milled on the property, which is either charming or showing off, possibly both.
