A half-timbered inn on the main road through Oberried, Gasthaus Sternen Post is old-school country dining with a terrace that catches the Black Forest light. The kitchen leans into the seasons and local farms, so expect cured fish, braised offal, and Swabian spaetzle rather than anything trying too hard. The wine list runs local. Rosemarie Lutz runs the front of house with the kind of warmth that makes you order dessert you hadn't planned on.
